Annette Funicello

 Like so many boys my age I only needed to see Annette come on the Mickey Mouse Club show and say her name and I was in love. Yet I can never say why. I only know it was one of the many signs of genius in Walt Disney that he was smart enough to pick her over the objections of the "professional" people casting the show.
