Though Jack Soo was born Japanese he took a Chinese stage name of Jack Soo after the WWII because he found it hard to get work as an Japanese entertainer in the US. I remember him best from his part in the movie Flower Drum Song; but most Americans know him best  from the Barney Miller TV Series.

I have always admired Dr. Joyce Brothers for her ability to mix so many parts of herself so well. She balances a professional career as a psychologist with the "Personality" cameos on situation comedies with professionalism in both places.

Like so many boys my age I only needed to see Annette come on the Mickey Mouse Club show and say her name and I was in love. Yet I can never say way. I only know it was one of the many signs of genius in Walt Disney that he was smart enough to pick her over the objections of the "professional" people casting the show.
